HERE ARE OUR 5 DAYS VISIT KENYA INTO THE WILD MASAI MARA.
OVERVIEW:
This short but extremely rewarding visit into the wild Masai Mara safari, allows visitors to gain a firsthand experience of the Great Rift Valley and the vast game rich plains of the Masai Mara.
The Rift Valley lakes are famous for their abundance of flamingos and other waterfall. While Masai Mara is home to the country’s greatest concentration of wildlife.
With 4 departures a week and choice of tented camps or permanent lodges for accommodation, this scheduled small group trip is guaranteed for a minimum of 2-10 clients.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL DAY
Upon arrival at Nairobi. You will be picked by Three Peaks Tanzania Safari representative and taken to your hotel.
where you will spend the night on a bed and breakfast basis (Check in time 14:00). Depending on time of arrival. Clients may choose to add an optional excursion.
DAY 2:
After breakfast, you will leave Nairobi approx. 07:30am, ready for the wild Masai Mara adventure. Travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands and head down the rift escarpment on the road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II.
On your way you will spot the charming chapel built at the foot of the escarpment. Passing the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the valley to Narok, continuing your travel across acres of wheat and barley, before reaching Masai Mara.
In the afternoon you will have lunch then continue with your game drive. And in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara camp.
DAY 3:
After an early morning breakfast. You will depart to your day 3 visit Kenya into the wild Masai Mara on a morning game drive, then return to the camp on a mid-morning.
Take lunch, and perhaps a siesta, then set off on another game drive and visit the Masai Village. In the evening you will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 4:
Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast and travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya. Where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Masai land.
On your way you will travel across the vast plains on the floor of Rift Valley, enjoying seeing herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up the Mai -Mahiu, before reaching Lake Nakuru around midday.
Once in the park/conservancy. The tour guide will take you to a game drive en-route to the lodge.
Take lunch and a siesta. Later on you will have an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun set.
